Ucraina: quattro morti per un uragano

Un uragano che si è abbattuto sulla regione di Lviv, in Ucraina occidentale, ha provocato la morte di quattro persone e il ferimento di altre cinque, che sono state ricoverate in ospedale. Le vittime sono state colpite da alberi sradicati dalla forza del vento e dal crollo di cornicioni. L'uragano ha seriamente danneggiato numerose linee dell'alta tensione, costringendo al buio per ore buona parte della città di Lviv (Lvov in russo, Leopoli in italiano).

Trovato la notizia che conferma il tutto su un quotidiano di Lvov, il fatto è avvenuto il 23/06

Head of Donetsk oblast branch of the Ukrainian People’s party Oleksandr Klymenko has called on the authorities of Donetsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa to give massive help to Lviv which was hit by a devastating hurricane June 23.

He urged the authorities of Ukraine’s largest cities and VR lawmakers to render material assistance to help rescue operations in Lviv.
“Lviv is Ukraine’s outpost in Europe. Brotherly help to Lviv will have a role in bringing Ukrainians together, strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and mutual understanding. The amount of help is not that very important – important is the fact of giving it, sympathy for those who suffered from the natural disaster,” the Donetsk-based lawmaker said.
Assisting Lviv in this misfortune will demonstrate readiness of Ukrainians to be a single nation and jointly implement large-scale nationwide projects, O. Klymenko stressed.
June 24, Premier Yulia Tymoshenko visited Yavoriv, Lviv oblast, one of the worst-hit areas. She promised financial help, assuring that the money needed for rescue operations would come June 25.

Bhe certo... gli uragani almeno quelli grossi, stile americano difficilmente possono verificarsi!

Direi impossibbile in Ucraina Robbè,no difficilmente..tantomeno su terraferma e nel bel mezzo del continente..
Solo nel Mediterraneo possono prodursi i parenti piu' stretti dei cicloni tropicali,Medicane o TLC ;)
Sin ota infatti nella prima foto postata da Roby un immensa cella temporalesca,ma non di certo un Uragano(anche se premetto che fortissimi temporali possono avere la stessa potenza di un Uragano,con raffiche superiori ai 120 Km/h).

Bhe ovvio daniè, in alcuni momenti celle temporalesche come quelle possono essere anche più potenti di un semplice uragano... con rain rate e venti notevoli...
